"We just moved here from Wilmington and have been sampling all of the Chinese restaurants in the area until we find "the one" .... Although I can't speak on the service or atmosphere because my roomate picked up for us , the egg drop soup is as good as it can get. 10 out of 10. It literally couldn't be better. I haven't tried any of the other food yet because we are sick at the moment, but this soup reminded me of the place back home . My roommate got the hot and sour soup.... It was rich and full of ingredients with a nice dark color . The fried dry noodles they give you with soups were also awesome. Much wider than most places and very fresh and crisp. We will be trying the regular menu foods when we get over this cold"
"My husband and I live close and support this business frequently. We called at 7:15 to place a to go order. The lady took our order and said 10 minutes. My husband arrived at 7:30 and the door was locked. He knocked and she came close to the door without opening in, told him they were closed and walked back off into the kitchen. The hours on the door says they close at 9pm. Very unprofessional."
"1st time was lunch, don’t remember what but it was ok -so tried a variety of things (5) for family - chicken all had bad greasy taste- not sure what flavor the lo mein was but couldn’t tolerate 1 bite - fried shrimp was ok but flavor tasted like the grease from chicken Hate to leave bad review but I wasted almost $50! service was fast enough but I agree with reviewer who commented on someone yelling(sounded like a argument) in kitchen"
"You ever do something in life and think man that was a mistake! Well that was me today as I opened my takeout from this disgusting place. If I could give zero stars I would. Still can’t figure out what we just attempted to eat. We used to go here all the time and the food was good. Now the food is complete garbage. We could not even eat it had to throw it away. I’ve had better Chinese from food lion. I will not be going back to this place and I suggest if you like Chinese do not go to this one either because it is absolutely terrible."
"I went in today to see if they had General Tso Bean Curd/Tofu. The burn grease smell when you walk in could just about knock you down. I almost left but given the good reviews, I wanted to give this place a try. I spoke with the gal behind the register and it was clear there was no issue with us understanding one another. I asked her if they breaded their tofu in their General Tso’s, she said yes. I asked if it would be possible to get it without the breading, just rolled in a little cornstarch and fried. She repeated it back to me, clear as day. Then she asked the man in the back and the response was yes we can. I ordered plain fried rice and two vegetable egg rolls with it. The vegetable egg rolls were so greasy I had to squeeze each one of them with 6 napkins to be edible and they still tasted like old frier grease. The tofu as you can clearly see is BREADED! The “fried” rice has ZERO EGG, the thing that makes it fried rice, hello?! I thought I might find some when I dumped some into a bowl but as you can see, no egg. It tastes as though they took some of the old frier grease and mixed it up in white rice. Same nasty taste with the tofu/bean curd. The one star I would give them is that they did provide a decent amount of broccoli and it was fresh. I will never eat here again and if you like “good, quality” food, I recommend you don’t eat here either!!!!!"
