"This was our second time in 2 weeks ordering from Golden China. I live almost an hour away in Mooresville. We will make the drive again for Jimmy’s food.i had the Szechuan Chicken and my wife had the Sweet and Sour Chicken… such good food!!"

"This is probably the best Chinese place around. The owner is very nice and the food can't be beat. The only thing to mention as a drawback is they don't take cards of any kind, cash or check only."

"I first discovered this place when I was pregnant with my son and craved Chinese food. Every time I go in, everyone is always pleasant and Jimmy is real nice taking my order. I usually get the same thing. The wait is a little long but understandably seeing there only 3 of them back there cooking. And a million orders including phone orders. I don't eat their all the time but when I do I'm never disappointed. Good food and service. Would recommend."

"Food was good but not what I'm used to. My wife and I are from NY and they make things differently up there. That's not putting this place down it's just not what we're used to. That being said the food was good very fresh and you definitely get your monies worth. The gentleman that took our order was a little bit rushing but i understand he's got better things to do than listen to me go umm for 5 minutes lol. The food was done on time and some how was still hot after a 40 minute drive home. Bring cash or a check because from my understanding he doesn't take card. My wife and I will definitely be returning to eat here."

"From the outside, the restaurant looks deserted. Once you enter it doesn’t get much better. Dark, dingy. A large homemade cardboard sign directs you to move “one way”. Plastic sheets are duct taped over doorways. Floor needs cleaning as do walls. Decor is lacking. Entrance looks like a storage area. Service is slow. Very slow. Food taste is no better than the decor. “Fried rice” wasn’t fried at all. From what I could see it was white rice with a brown liquid poured over it to give the appearance of being fried. No vegetables or egg in fried rice. I was sick for two days after eating here. I won’t be back. This is the only Chinese restaurant in town. If you decide to eat there after reading this review, please know they only accept cash. May the odds be ever in your favor."
