"Was a patient for 5+ years. Never really got to know him nor did I ever feel like he was emotionally invested. He has tremendous knowledge but he has lost his way as a psychiatrist. He wouldn't respond to any of my emails in between appointments and when I emailed him about it stating my concern he never responded to me. Bottom line, he is too focused on teaching and writing his books and wasn't willing to admit that he didn' have the time to help me in the way I needed to be. I have no problem if he wants to focus on non-psychiatrist activities, just tell me that so I can get the help I need. But he never did that for me. It's especially frusterating because he has amazing knowledge of the field. Wish I could put 0 stars. I hope you don't have to experience what I had to go through."
