"POSI is EXCELLENT!!! If you or someone you love needs orthotic care, go with POSI. All of the experts recommend them and I see why. The PTs and OTs who “aren’t allowed” to recommend them, recommend them in their own way, too. Again, it’s obvious why. I work primarily with Yuke Kee as my prosthetist and she is amazing! Shuo has also worked with me. They both drove all the way to my home at the shore for my first appointment when I was laid-up as a new amputee (left leg, below the knee). That immediately demonstrated their commitment to me and my progress and they’ve been simply excellent ever since. Yuke Kee is a consummate progressional and is very knowledgeable and skilled at what she does. Shuo has assisted me when Yuke Kee was out and he is equally as talented and responsive to my needs. Both Yuke Kee and Shuo have always made themselves available to me as scheduled, or, more importantly, whenever suddenly needed! The office manager Pamela is excellent as well. Pam has a family member who is an amputee like me, and her willingness to share what she has learned from her experiences has been very helpful to me in a very practical, applicable and down-to-earth, honest way. Staff members who do not work with me directly still recognize me when I come in and they couldn’t be more encouraging and supportive. It’s important to find a good prosthetist, because if you’re like me, you’ll need them for life. I love POSI and you will too. They are very responsive and caring. They are experts at what they do."

"I am 62 years old and have been a Left AKA for 4 1/2 years and if it were not for the team at POSI, I would not be here to write this today. I was with another Prosthetic company for the first 2 years. They got me a leg and got me up and walking again, but I soon learned that this was not enough for me. I was working hard to achieve my goal, I wanted to walk well, not "well for an amputee". I wanted to run and ride a bike. I was very fit and have worked out and been active throughout my entire life and saw no reason why I could not achieve these goals. This is when I met Kevin Towers and the amazing team at POSI! They have literally saved my life! When I began to work with the team at POSI, Kevin explained why I was having problems with my current socket and prosthetic. He explained what he would do differently and why, then asked if I wanted his help. I never hesitated. Kevin casted me to get a custom fitting socket and it made a world of difference. Since working with him and his team they have encouraged and helped me to achieve my goals. I now have a running leg and can run with it. I have been able to go on vacations and hike on rocky terrain in Colorado and upstate NY. I currently walk anywhere from 4-6 miles daily. Don't misunderstand me, I put in a tremendous amount of work, training and therapy to do these things but the team at POSI have given me the tools and support I needed to achieve these goals. I can now truly say that I can live life without limitations!"
