"Maria Flores is a great doctor, really cares about her patients. She checked on me after my surgery complications and personally called my family to made sure I went."
"Please stop going to this office. Stop making appointments. I feel like everyone who already goes to her should cancel all their current appointments and find a different doctor. Please just call the back of your insurance card and tell them to send you a list of different PCPs. You’ll find a primary care provider that values you, your time, and health. Not to mention they’ll also have receptionists and nurses that will also value their patients. Do yourself a favor, and stop going here. I don’t even have to write my experience, it’s the same as the others. Just stop going here."
"I had an appointment @8am just now leaving out @10:12am smh don’t make any since, yes I love Dr Flores she’s kind, sweet, caring and compassionate but her receptionist is rude and disrespectful. I get here 5 minutes before the office open mind you in the first patient here, 3 other patients come after me but yet I’m just now leaving. They started talking to her in Spanish and that’s all it took all 3 people were seen before me smh. Even tho I had time today I just didn’t wanna keep going back and forth with her I just let it be but it’s cool because I already made me another appointment with a different Dr. I hate to go but it couldn’t have been a doctor office brawl easy cause I’m on vacation so I got time but I definitely kept it cute and humbled myself."
"Where do I begin. I scheduled my first appointment with this office several weeks earlier. My biggest mistake was not reading any reviews about this place. When I called to schedule the appointment, there should have been red flags going up, as the receptionist indicated that we should schedule an appointment first thing in the morning, as opposed to later in the day. She mentioned that there is usually a delay in seeing patients at their scheduled times if we come later. So, I decided to make the appointment for 8am. I arrived to my appointment at exactly 8am on 8/6. Upon arriving, there was no greeting, or instruction on anything, so I just signed in, as I expected just like I had done with other doctor's appointments. There was one more patient in the waiting room at the time. It appeared that there were more patients waiting in their cars outside. After waiting for 45 minutes, I approached window to ask if I had to fill out any paperwork as this was my first time visiting this doctor. The receptionist asked for my ID and insurance card, saying she will create a profile before I see the doctor. There were about 4-5 other females in the reception area. Another 30 minutes go by, No patients come out from any rooms (not even the one patient who had been waiting in the lobby when I arrived). Another patient arrives in the lobby. She greeted me and said this office always takes long to see patients. So, while I am there, I notice the receptionist talking to her colleagues and non of them seemingly preparing anything for me to see the doctor. How is it that there are about 5 people working in the back, and yet, they have not budged for over an hour and 15 minutes since I arrived? I arrived early enough as was instructed, and now I am approaching 2 hours from my arrival time, and still no profile, no paperwork filled out! It is now obvious that the people working here are completely unprofessional and incompetent. They seem to have no regard/respect for a patient's time. They knew this, which is why they had given a heads up to expect a delay. Then why bother to schedule patient's at a certain time, when they know the patient may not be seen for 3-5 hours later? Finally, I asked for my insurance card and ID back, and told them to cancel my appointment. I no longer had the patience to wait. After leaving, I googled this office to check on the reviews, which I should have absolutely done well before coming here. Other patients have experienced the same, if not worse. I would never have scheduled an appointment here or wasted my time, had I read the really bad reviews about how this office is run. If the doctor sees this review, please take note of how poorly and unprofessional the staff is. You are losing money, by not providing the service experience that patients deserve. Your staff will eventually put you out of business if they continue to run this way. I will not be using this office whatsoever. Unless you have 3-5 hours to waste, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE!"
"I’ve been a patient with Dr Flores for several years and my recent experience is the straw that broke the camels back. There has not been an appointment I’ve gone to where I did not wait hours after my appointed time. To the point where if I have an emergency, I know to not even bother scheduling an appointment with Flores’ office and go to an Urgent care. I had an appointment scheduled on Friday and was impressed since it seems like the administrative team may have stepped their game up since they recently merged with Hackensack Meridian. They send appointment confirmations via text days prior and the day before your appointment. However I suppose because of the impending snow were were expected to get (which never happened) the office was closed the day of my appointment. I received no update that they were cancelling my appointment. It wasn’t until I showed up I noticed that they were closed and my call went straight to their answering service. Their online information gives misleading information the times they should be open, the phones go straight to VM. I finally spoke with someone on Monday expressing my frustration and received a nonchalant response that they would be busy and if it is an emergency I should go to the hospital. Where I responded why should I have to spend a $500 deductible to be treated at a hospital as a result to their administrative I’m competency’s? I was put on hold and miraculously a slot opened up for me. An hour I’m seeing that insurance sales reps can casually walk in the office, distract the admin team and receive more attention than the actual patients. I do not recommend this office to anyone and suggest any patient who experienced atrocious customer service from the admin team to submit a final complaint to Hackensack meridian’s executive team."
