"What a shame this place went downhill so quickly. I was a former thyroid cancer patient of Dr. Torrens for over a decade. I was not notified that he left the practice, I was not notified where he went. My prescription (that I need to live) stopped being filled by no notification to me, and they told me that there is nothing they can do for me.. They clearly do not take care of their patients and do not care what happens to them with any changes to their office structure. How am I magically supposed to know my doctor is leaving a practice and how am I supposed to magically get my medicine(taken daily to literally live) if I can’t even get an appointment with any of the other doctors at the practice or with him at his new practice for multiple MONTHS? Shame on you all.. I would always follow Torrens but I will NEVER recommend this practice essentially leaving me for dead and saying “good luck.” - do better. You take an oath to help your patients, and you’ve everything except that."

"Used to be a great place when Doctor Torrens was there. Now not so much. When Doctor Torrens left the practice they rescheduled my annual appointment and said the next one they had was over a month out. No issues with that as I’m sure they had to move his many patients somewhere. Since that time they have cancelled my appointments on two more occasions with each appointment over a month out. I have now had my blood levels unmonitored for over a year and a half. When I call and expressed my concern on how they can’t squeeze me in sooner as they have been the one canceling my appointments the answer is there is nothing they can do. Long story short is I’m finding another practice."

"Update (8/20/22) - You need to personally call before medications get refilled. They seem to ignore the vast majority of communication from pharmacies. Ended up going 3 weeks without a medication and about to run out of another which was called in over a week ago. The Clinton office (which easily provided the best care and general experience I have encountered in the Hunterdon Healthcare System) was closed between my last appointment and this one. I received a letter a few weeks ago indicating this and providing ranges of dates which determined where my appointment had been moved. Today, I ended up driving twice the distance to this office, only to find that I had been scheduled for a general office visit (which had also been scheduled for a later date at the same time), not one to get my insulin pump configured. As a result, I'll need to take yet another day off over a month from now which will be difficult with my work schedule (I typically plan my appointments 3+ months out for just this reason). I have no no complaints about any of the staff I met at this office. They were all courteous, understanding, and generally did everything they could to make the situation better. Unfortunately, it still stands that my first experience at this office was less than satisfactory. I will update this review after my next visit."

"Dr. Torrens took care of me almost a decade ago when I was diagnosed with Grave’s Disease and dealing with an abusive munchausen by proxy mother. I absolutely loved this doctor and I wish there were more like him; 5 stars does not do him justice, he deserves even more than that. Highly recommend!"
