"Beyond horrible don't do it to your child. My son was assalted multiple times, horrendous customer services, staff members are disrespectful. I fear for my son's in this school. They condone bullying, work ethics horrible, the staff are extremely ghetto and disorganized."
"My son attends this horrible school. THE LADIES IN THE MAIN OFFICE ARE EXTREMELY RULED. They are not friendly or helpful. When I enter the office I feel as if I just walked into someones house un-invited, as if I'm bothering them. The teacher don't make the effort to communicate with the parents , I should not have to go to my sons school to know how he is doing, or if he has been misbehaving. If there is an issue the teacher should write the parent an email and not just leave the child continually failing and misbehaving. NO ONE IN THIS SCHOOL CARES. Looking to transfer my son out of this school immediately."
"An excellent school, with outstanding leadership. I visited the school from the UK, and sadly, had preconceived notions about schools in inner city New York. My assumptions were quickly shattered , impressed as I was, by the Principal's total commitment to transforming the life chances of the many disadvantaged children in his care, and the high standards of teaching and learning I witnessed. The staff were collegiate in approach, working hard to make a difference, in a system which may not have the same 'polish' or funding as most in the UK. The kindergarten students in particular ,were delightful and had a real passion for learning and to do their best. Keep doing what you're doing at PS53X- you're a great school , obviously striving to push forward in order to meet the needs of your students. It's clear that your school has a tangibly caring, purposeful culture which supports the development of both staff and students. This is a school with ambition- watch it grow !"
"I graduated from this school a few months ago it was the worst and best years of my life the principle is a bit racist and not to be racist there r a little bit of latins i love and hate this school i always got good grades at this school except when i started u should not send your child here"
