"Laura was absolutely spectacular. I have a 50+lb 5 month old livestock guardian dog and she handled him amazingly. He is a stubborn one, and she made him feel so comfortable. Beyond just doing an amazing job and making my stinky pup smell clean, she gave me such useful information from her extensive past as a dog trainer. She is friendly, honest and so professional! She was so kind and welcoming and let my two boys watch the process, very grateful for that. I would give 6 stars if I could. If you’re not using Roaming Rover you’re seriously missing out! "We have have three standard poodles — one of them nearly 100lb. in weight. When they were puppies, I took them to a local groomer. They found the experience stressful — the bench was narrow; they wanted to sit because they felt unsteady; and the groomer would get a bit cranky with them. The groomer did not like the fact that I stayed while groomed my dogs. In fact, she told me she would not groom them again if I stayed. I was staying because I didn't trust that they would be treated well enough for my liking. So, we gave that up and I attempted to keep them today at home -- not a good plan. Then I discovered Roaming Rover. The first time Laura came I sat outside the van all day as she worked on each dog. Laura was unfazed by my doing that. She's been coming now - every 6-8 weeks - for going on three years. Laura's bench is wide and set against the side of the van so the dogs don't feel nervous. And they step from there into and out of the bath, so that's not scary either. The dogs go out to the van one at a time and come back in looking and smelling beautiful while the next one goes out. Two of them would rather not go, but they don't resist hopping up into the van. I think the third dog (the big one) actually looks forward to it. He trusts Laura and so do I."

"When Covid started, I decided to try a home dog grooming service rather than go to a shop. I called Roaming Rover Mobile Pet Groomer and boy was I glad I did. Laura pulled up in a pick-up with a trailer attachment and parked on the side of the house. She plugged into an outlet and was ready to go in her fully equipped trailer. Our dog was brought out to her and an hour later he was returned freshly cut, bathed, nails clipped and even got a blueberry facial. It was so easy, and she did such a great job. Aside from being a total professional she is so sweet and accommodating. He always comes back exactly how I requested he be cut. It took all the stress out of dragging him into a groomer and having to wait as he grew more anxious. He went from being a nervous wreck and clinging to me when he saw the groomer to practically jumping out of my arms to lick Laura. This takes getting your dog groomed to a whole other level and I would now never consider using any one other than Roaming Rover!"

"Laura is fantastic, she’s personable, friendly & knowledgeable. She takes her time with my Theodore and tailors his grooming to what is best for him. When he’s a little snippy she knows how to whip him into shape, in a good way. When I moved here I wanted to find a groomer that Theodore would be comfortable with and I’m glad that I found Laura. I have Laura booked for every 6 weeks because her appointments fill up quickly. I highly recommend Roaming Rover. So glad I found Laura, you will not be disappointed."
