"Definitely disappointed!! I was curious to see how he would portray the facts in this relocation case but unfortunately he overlooked all the facts that were presented by my side! As expected lol What’s sad is Dr. H is allowed to basically give false information which he stamps is true…then presents this to an attorney that could essentially put a child in the hands of a parent that’s not capable of caring for a child at all!! Why?? because his pay check comes from that parties side. Having Christian grandchildren of his own, I would definitely expect better from him as a person practicing the faith of Christ and also as a Dr. In general. You can do better Dr. H!"

"He was too generous to my ex but a very good psychologist. He cared about the kids, that's what matters. He's not supposed to be there for what the parents want. He's there to give the kids a voice and figure out what's in their best interest."

"I'm sure it's not easy to make recommendations as to who should get more custody - the mother or the father. That's why I personally would never do this job. But since he decided he knows better than the parents, at the very least, he could make an objective assessment and not, as he himself put it, "use the template." Template does not apply to people's lives. Not only money wasted, but a very bitter aftertaste, even if I understand why this profession is needed. Not objective at all and never bothered to go into important details. Sat on the couch, listened, and could barely keep his eyes open. He doesn't care about the children, he just wants to collect his fee."

"In my opinion, I did not have a factual court report. There were numerous written discrepancies from what I actually stated to him and what was written in his report. In my opinion, it was a very poor report with many written gaps, omissions of actual facts and contradictions. I paid a great deal of money for a minuscule judgmental report, that focused on he said, she said emphasis rather than focusing on what is truly in the best interest of my children. In my opinion, as a layperson/parent it would be helpful to do your research first before connecting with this custody evaluator. Perhaps, think about asking his office for permission to record your sessions together before moving forward with such a big decision. There is a great deal of information on the web about him, court cases etc., going way back. Be your own judge of character and try not to allow someone to make such an important decision for you and for your children. The courts take this one individual very seriously, they are too busy and do not have time to hear the real realities of your family history or current situation. In my opinion, New Jersey's family court is merely about parental neutrality and parental trends unless there is concrete evidence of harm or abuse. However, we all know all family situations are different and other people's decisions are not always in the best interest of the child/children. In my opinion, my experience with Mr. Hagovsky was handled unprofessionally, was treated more like a personality competition sought to provoke and exacerbate things rather than focusing on the real issues in hand."
