"Amy is an amazing resource for parents of young children, or really anyone in need of extra support. I’ve taken Amy’s parenting in awareness class at Montclair Baby, her Music together class, a group conversation on trauma she put together in the wake of 10/7, and a really wonderful evening group she created on request for moms of young toddlers. I can’t recommend her classes enough, they’ve been such an important part of my journey into motherhood, and I’m so grateful to have her guidance and insights to lean on."
"Amy helped me through a really tough spot in my family life while I was expecting my third child. She is warm, down-to-earth, authentic, and perceptive. I had never done EMDR and learned some very valuable tools through our EMDR session. Highly recommend her to anyone who needs mental health support or is going through a tough transition period!"
"I participated in a 6 week parenting group for first time parents led by Amy, and she was great! She created a safe space for us to talk about what we were going through as first time moms, and offered us all support, validation, and resources. She also has incredible knowledge about a variety of parenting topics and was able to give us practical information and tips about parenting."
"I have been going to Amy for therapy for 3 years and the person I was before I met her and the person I am now are worlds apart. I never thought I could get here. She is very caring but also challenges your ways of thinking. Since she is trauma certified and also EMDR certified, she is able to really help you heal from past traumas. She is accepting of what works and what doesn't work and will support you in a way that works for you. She is also flexible in scheduling and this was a big help when I was a new mom. I cannot recommend Amy enough and personally believe she is a miracle worker if you are willing to do the work."
"My daughter (12 at the time) was diagnosed with AMPS (a chronic pain syndrome) which is a bit complicated to treat, requiring CBT coupled with physical and occupational therapies. I feel so fortunate that we found Amy, who is compassionate, easy to talk to, easy to understand, intelligent and practical in her therapeutic approach. My daughter is very perfectionist and reserved, and Amy was really able to gain her trust and have her explore emotions that really needed to be explored - and find the confidence to express them. I am happy to say that within a year, my daughter’s condition was successfully treated and she was pain free — as well as less burdened emotionally….and treatment was able to be wound down in a way that felt healthy, happy and complete, which is a huge accomplishment. We will always be very grateful for Amy and her skilled expert care."
