"I am a student at this school at the time of writing. The reason for most of these bad reviews was the old principal, Ms. C. There is currently a new principal as of the 2022 year, so you don't have to worry about it! He is a lot nicer according to most of the students. There's small classes and they find a way to include everyone, so people learn better and have more fun. There are also many small events they hold seasonally or for religious events, since this is a Catholic school. A complaint is that my brother is in the Pre-K 3 class, and I feel like they could accommodate the youngest grades a little more in terms of children who need a little help or don't communicate much yet for what they want. However, I recommend sending your child to this school!"

"I am a Student here in St.Stans from 2020-2022. Most of these reviews are years ago, mostly about Ms.C. But, I am here to tell you, there is a new principal. You don't have to worry about those reviews. The new principal's name is Dr.Green. And no, he is not like Ms.C. If you get in trouble he will make the punishment fair and equal. The teachers here are mostly nice. I can admit some of the teachers are cruel. But most of them are nice and fair. So dont worry about not sending your child to this school, but I encourage you to send your child to this school. "A high quality education from PreK 3 to 8th grade. Small classrooms with high teacher attention (no more than 25 per class not like public schools which are totally overcrowded in Greenpoint). This leads to not only a great learning environment but also a great community. And you don't have to do the stressful middle school dance. The high schools these students get into are top tier from Stuyvesant to Sacred Heart. An amazing place!"

"St Stan is a wonderful school; sending our daughter to St. Stan's for Pre-K3 was a great decision. Our daughter loves going to school every day and I'm confident she is happy and getting a great education. As parents, we love the discipline and how well behaved all the kids are in the school. The classes are also very small, so every kid has a lot of attention and therefore learn so well. The school itself is very clean, bright and warm. For those who are Catholics, it is also nice knowing that your children will be learning their prayers and attending mass on occasion, while in school. We are a French family and are really looking forward to enrolling our daughter in the after school program for French Native speakers starting next year."

"I think St. Stans Catholic Academy is a great school. I chose this school for my daughter for several reasons. Classes are small, the schools test scores are top notch and it give us a real sense of community and belonging, which is nice in a NYC neighborhood. At first before I knew much about the school, my impressions were that it was all Polish. However I was proven to be wrong in that there is a real mixture of people in the school and it is a great friendly environment. I also have to say, I was extremely impressed with their school function organization. The International Night Show and Christmas pageant were impressive and enjoyable experiences. They involved all the schools children from PreK3 through 8th Grade. Overall it has been a great experience for my daughter and I look forward to her spending the rest of her elementary school career there."
