"My kids came here when my daughter was 6th grade and my son in 3rd. They were both coming from public schools however the public school they attended was only up to 5th grade. So it seemed that NDCA was the closest school to transfer to. So to make the story short, we made the right choice, NDCA is a great school and is important to us to have our kids have a Catholic school education. The teachers and staff are like family, warm and caring. And because of such great support, I’m proud to say both were in the Principal’s honor roll list at all times, with my daughter graduating as salutatorian and both achieving membership to the Junior National Honor society. I would definitely recommend this school to any parents for their children."
"Our daughter has been with Notre Dame Catholic Academy for the past 8 years and we could not have asked for a higher quality experience! The school staff is warm, caring, and genuinely considerate. This isn’t just a school but a family. The quality of the academic curriculum is pristine and anytime she required additional assistance I was contacted and guided through options. I recommend this school to anyone that truly cares about their child’s education!"
"I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful people who work at NDCA and the education that my children are receiving there. The teachers are excellent. They are skilled, dedicated, caring and tech savvy. There is open communication with parents and they are always approachable. The principal, teachers and the office team work seamlessly together and have gone above and beyond to help us more times than I can count. Mrs. DiLorenzo is the most hands on and caring principal I have ever met and it shows in everything she does that the students are her utmost priority. NDCA is a structured, safe environment for the sudents. At the same time it is a warm, friendly place that feels like a family. I would recommend this school to everyone."
"I love Notre Dame catholic Academy. The teachers are great and very good to the kids. They are always keeping us informed and up to date. The teachers always try to keep learning fun. My daughter now in 7 grade loves her school and she has such a great bond with her friends."
"I really liked the fact that my daughter was admitted at this school because it was recommended from my friends and it was close to the house. She had to go one month late because we were not in NY and the beginning was a frustration for her with crying, yelling and staying upset because she didn’t want to let go off me. I had help from the teachers and the director telling me that it is difficult for everyone to adjust but you have to give her time. Finally she was happy most of the days that went to school and on November 2021 I got the letter that she has to do the flu shot in order to continue to attend school on January 2022. This is mandatory only for this school, because I know a lot of people that have kids age 3-5 years old that the school told them they needed but not mandatory. Doing a vaccine that it’s not mandatory for kids in life, but the school wants it because DOE requires it for this specific age, I don’t understand it at all. I’m not writing this review for the teachers, they both were amazing and my daughter loves them. She keeps asking if she can go to school every morning and I don’t know how to explain to her that I can not put in her body extra shots because the school forgot to tell me since the beginning that it’s mandatory (first time I heard that). Changing school it’s not easy, especially for her age, so you really deserve this review and I hope that many parents read it before they decide to apply for it."
