"Great staff and students! One of the best Catholic high schools I’ve seen!"
"I guess it is hard to say a school is good if they expel your child...unless of course you can accept your child's behavior was inappropriate. There were times my child received a punishment for inappropriate behavior. On numerous occasions I spoke with the staff and administration about my child and what was going on academically and socially with my child. I was not turned away and although I may have wanted a different result a few times, we were able to come to agreements that ended up helping my child improve academically, emotionally, and socially. I specifically wanted this school because it is small and though my child needed special services, they worked with us to get my child the assistance needed. We also knew the school is not known for their sports so if you attend thinking you will get scouted by the NBA draft, you are sadly mistaken. My child though was able to participate in sports all four years, try a new sport, and learned the importance of teamwork. Sometimes a school doesn't fit what you want but that does not make it a bad school....it just means it was a bad fit. This school was a great fit for us and I am grateful for the growth I have seen in my child."
"The teachers at this school are fabulous! I have been impressed how my student has been inspired and challenged in her learning. The teachers are engaging, caring, interesting, and dedicated."
"Worse decision was having our son attend this school! There are administrators running the school with no teaching certification. There are teachers with little teaching experience. The counselor does not have much experience being able to assist with student needs. There is no security guard and the doors in the main entrance are constantly open. There is no nurse on duty to help if your child is ill our gets hurt. Our son was bullied by students who were protected, because their parents were richer and were able to donate and contribute to the school more so than we could have. A student threaten to beat our son up and the Colonial did not suspend the student, but decided to throw our son out of the school instead; like he was a piece of trash. Our son has social anxiety and was struggling with his grades and they did not want to help him once they agreed to do so. If your child has a 504 plan or IEP, I would suggest you do not place them in this school, because they will not follow what is needed to help your child. They would prefer to throw them out so they do not have to deal with them."
