Reviews of Christ the King School
"One star is more then this school deserves after all disrespectful things witnessed. some of the teachers were so unprofessional and could not draw the line between their personal and professional lives and I honestly feel so bad for any child that has To attend this unprofessional school and experience phycological trauma due to such a toxic environment"
"Honestly, I’m happy that much time has passed in order for me to say my experience. If you’re looking for a school full of hypocrisy this is the one. The upper grade teachers are definitely so absent minded. (I genuinely feel bad for the lower grade teachers if this damages them.) Students would get in trouble randomly based on their teachers mood. There are definitely biased relationships between the teachers and certain students. The teachers are beyond unprofessional since they invade students privacy beyond school doors. They lurk on their past students social media accounts and make comments about them behind the students back. Instead of teachers they act like Hispanic mothers to their students. There should me a line of professionalism that shouldn’t be crossed. Students are not your kids. This issues have been brought up by many others. I understand as a parent you would like for your child to get a good education, but based on the sole interaction with the teachers this is not the place. The family spirit this school shares can definitely be seen when they keep stuff under raps. They live for the drama it’s the only thing that makes their day enjoyable. I once overheard a teacher completely criticize a student and their parent. All this that I’m saying applies to the upper grades. The worst one of them all might be their ELA teacher. I know they’ll get angry, but if this applies to to you I hope that you feel the anger. Being in that school really was the worst part of my education experience as a young child."
"Unfortunately, I regret having put my children at this school. This past year they had many issues with heating and cooling which affected the children's attendance. At the same time one of my childrens class went through two teachers in which the second barely showed up due to her own personal reasons. On top of it all, the principle only cares about the money and does not work with you if you are late or if life happens, well your on your own. He insists on payments being made and does not care to hear the parents circumstances or tries to help. Instead he urges that payments must be made or you will be sent to collections."
"Christ the King is a great school. Since Mr. Iuso became principle he’s been fixing the school a lot. The teachers are great and the curriculum is informative. The only issue I have with the school is my daughters 1st Grade Teacher , She constantly picks on her and finds reasons to put her down despite the fact that my daughter is on the principles list. I have to work on my child at home because I don’t want this to effect her self esteem. Her other teachers MsWard and Ms Crespo are great. My son is in PreK and has learned a lot their program is enriching. Felecia Barrett"
"To my honest opinion this school is very uneducation. My children have told me many of the teachers yell at you for no reason and when you stand up for yourself they get even angrier than they were. All of the teachers are heartless and don't know emotions. Some are even dumb . They don't even know their own handbook. They told my son to cut his hair but , in the handbook on pg57 it says to cut it if it reaches up to the collar and it didn't so I sent him to and I got told by him he got kicked out the classroom and was not able to take his final in the classroom. As for the rest of the teachers they are old , uneducated, and dead inside people. In conclusion, if you are thinking about sending your child to this school don't ."
