"Amazing Hotel in an amazing complex! Safe and secure, extremely friendly staff and bar tender. Right on the bus line and across the street from a fabulous deli. Awesome Chinese Buffet and Fish Market in building along with a Karaoke Night Club. Plus the classiest of all is a soda water dispenser in the bar in the lobby. Open to guests, help yourself. Read the labels on the taps. Close to La Guardia."
"I will start off by saying the staff at the front desk were as helpful as they could be. Leroy and Aditti were courteous and friendly, management on the other hand could use some work. I stayed there for three nights in the thick of winter and there was no heat in our room. The temperature of the room was 61- 64F….absolutely unbearable. We switched rooms and things got even worse. In our new room, also no heat. What made it worse was with the heating unit shut off, the vent was blasting cold air into the room the entire time. The only thing the staff could do with give us extra blankets and a towel to block cold air vent. We couldn’t sleep as it was freezing. The manager refused to speak to us, only passed on messages through the front desk staff saying nothing could be done. No compensation, no space heater…nothing. I would stay away from this place. Management is irresponsible. Whatever response they post to reply later on, I don’t believe it. They do not care, the customer is not important. Management made that very clear when they refused to talk to me, I called them 3 times starting from 7am because I was told that’s when the manager would arrive. Each time there was some lame excuse of how the manager is not available. The last time I called the staff quoted what the manager said to them, “nothing can be done”. Didn’t have the guts to do it themselves either. Had to get the front desk staff to be the bearer of bad news. From what I know, many of the rooms didn't have heat as well. Also, for whatever reason, the bathtub water was yellow. I was afraid to get in the tub. No it was not the light…"
"First night at this delightful hotel! The concierge Jada is quite lovely! So helpful and personal. The new bar, The Hanger just opened up and I was fortunate enough to meet Felix! He is a spectacular dude! So personable and sweet! He’s there to serve because he’s proud of what he has, and it shows. Definitely a must stay here! 1,000 stars!"
"My wife and I traveled to New York for a 50th birthday party. The hotel looks like it has been renovated but results are really good. The rooms are very modular and rooms were very comfortable. To get to desk lobby can be confusing due to the way the building elevator works. But it is also an advantage because keeps down excessive traffic. I would recommend the hotel if you really need a place to lay your head for any event."
"The hotel appears to have been recently renovated. Rooms were beautiful! Very nice up to date bathroom. We booked a king on the second floor but switched to two double beds on the third floor because we were told the second floor was noisy due to the karaoke bar on the second floor. The rooftop restaurant has potential. We ate there for breakfast and I felt it was overpriced. Better off eating at a local cafe. The location is a bit off the beaten path. Convenient if you are flying out of LaGuardia and/or just hanging out in Flushing. There was a strip with some decent restaurants nearby. Overall safe and clean neighborhood and right across the street from the Q25 bus stop. About a 15 minute ride to the 7 train in downtown Flushing. Probably not the best location if you plan to spend a lot of time in Manhattan. Service was very friendly."
