"She is always busy never available without appointments My daugher fell down (during regular hours around 3 pm) she was bleeding little bit from nose , insurance say check with regular pediatrician first she never talk to us and unfortunately had to go to ER which is too expensive At ER they say nothing to worry about , didn’t scan they say go home . They also recommend next time for small fall visit your pediatrician first . I am $2500 poor , this happened twice and many time for viral infection We had enough of her , will find another pediatrician. On side note , I have allergy specialist, she pickup phone middle of night through operator and send prescription immediately, also she do FaceTime , she is 65 year old and never rejected call in case of emergency. Update : 3/13 .. my daughter get rashes and we waited over weekend as it was not urgent . In morning my wife went there they refuse to take her and say go to emergency, finally they have 2 pm appointment in Mornif but then they realize we want to discontinue so they say we don’t have it for today or tomorrow or next week or never for us , after talking with them 30 Minute they say we have appointments tomorrow 10 am , such heartless people All people checkin this review please go to optum they always have some doctor to attend your child .. they gave appointment same day and my kid is sleeping soundly now"

"Excellent service, Dr.Turizo was absolutely fantastic my daughter felt comfortable, she answered all our concerns and had great bed side manners. The front desk staff was very polite and the nurse a sweetheart. Will be taking the rest of my children to Dr. Turizo. Another plus is there is no wait time on appointments! Thank you all for a great experience."

"Dr. Turizo and all her staff are excellent. They are professional and very nice. Either for a check up or an urgent visit, my kids (5 and 10 years old) and myself always feel welcome and respected. The waiting time in the almost 4 year we’ve been visiting her has been totally normal. They take the time to ask, listen and check the patient properly. They answer every question, talk with the kids, and they are very clear explaining the diagnosis and courses of treatment."

"I totally trust Dr. Turizo. She has developed a trusting relationship with my sons. My eldest is 14.5. If she needs a specialist to step in, she makes sure it happens. Dr. Turizo's staff is great also. Be patient if they are busy. The office doesn't keep you waiting more than necessary. If you need records or a letter written, they get it to you quickly"

"Dr. Turizo has seen my 3 kids since birth, I have followed her from location to location for 11 years now. I was thrilled to hear she was opening her own practice. She is the most thorough pediatrician and truly takes her time with my children. She has a great bedside manner and explains everything in detail. Since she opened her new office in Nutley, I have noticed the wait times are not as long so that's a plus but even with a wait, it's totally worth it, you aren't waiting to see a Dr. for 5 minutes and have a nurse give your child shots. Dr. Turizo does it all from start to finish."
