Reviews
"CISSP Prep Review - I took the CISSP prep course through Rutgers CE. The enrollment process is a little convoluted and not friendly to employer payment systems. Some schools (like Cornell) have a high-speed process that allows you to enroll, then you have until the start date to provide payment. Once you are actually in, the CE portal seems very dated. Even once I was enrolled, their site doesn't show a start date in my registrations because the particular prep course is run by a 3rd party. The third party provided the link and logon information. I feel that the link should have shown up under "My registrations" on the Rutgers CE portal. The last problem I have is the exam test voucher. The cost of the prep course includes a voucher to take the CISSP exam. However, you only receive this upon completion of the course, but as you already paid for it I believe it should be included with course materials so that you work to schedule your exam ahead of time and while the content is the most fresh in your head. The other problem with this voucher, is that the 3rd course host must provide completion notice to Rutgers before Rutgers will issue your completion certificate and test voucher. This 3rd part site says they report monthly? So I would potentially have to wait up to a month to receive Rutgers certificate (required in a timely manner for reimbursement) and to the voucher to then schedule the exam, which depending on where you live and availability of testing centers could be weeks to months. In this day and age that is extremely inefficient."
