They know her name, and they make sure that she is cared for. When I pick her up, I never feel like I left her in a compromised situation. They are also quite careful about making sure that all dogs have received a certain list of health requirements, and they tell us if we are due for these requirements. (We have occasionally been turned away, but then welcomed back once we met the requirements :) Lastly, I feel that it is well run businesses like this that keep Greenpoint personal, unique, and real.
