FOOD BAZAAR

"The way they treat their customers at this food bazaar makes me think they're not trying to stay open for long. The security guards there are BEYOND unprofessional and RUDE. First I noticed a sign in the cellar that states we have to check our personal bags with security because we can't walk with them through the store. That's absolutely ridiculous, if you think I am going to leave my personal bag/purse with my items in it with a random individual in the front of the store you are insane and that rule has to be illegal. I had a bag of food....FOOD that I brought home from the teriyaki place right next door to the food bazaar and they harassed me to leave it with security. HELL NO I'm not leaving food I purchased unattended that's insane! I only went there to buy paper towels, having this be so conveniently close by home USED to be a plus but now not so much. Every single time I've been there the last 2 months has been horrendous. The rude cashiers specifically an Indian girl in front end who conveniently never has a name tag on I don't understand how she's still employed I literally hear customers complain about her and avoid her line purposely. The security guards who literally make u feel like you're stealing your own items u walked in with. Is this a supermarket or a jail? DO BETTER MANAGEMENT"

"Went to Food Bazaar for the first time yesterday and I was pleasantly pleased! The produce section is amazing and so is their meat section, with butchers on hand for fresh cut meats! Their isles are well stocked and have a whole variety of international foods! What’s best is that their prices are fair for the quality that you get! Food Bazaar has gained a new regular customer!"

"Meat is not fresh at all. And management is the worst. Tried to return items and the literally was lying telling me that the items were used. Then after speaking to the manager in the morning and explained the situation, he was very understanding and returned my money. But I shouldn't have to have come two days later when I was well in the rights of the store return policy. Oh and I cannot forget the front end Indian chick who called security on my 3 year old. I tried to upload the video to this but am having an issue doing so."

"A nice addition to the East Side of Harlem. I remember mostly rug and furniture stores and not much else more than a decade ago. I was pleasantly surprised to see just how much variety is upstairs and at decent prices. Their produce section rivals any other with so many items to choose from, from vegetables to fruits. Their seafood is great as well as they can clean and cut up the fish for you. Be on the lookout for Managers Special to save even more. *They also offer delivery via their app!"

"Pros: One of the best grocery stores in Manhattan. Store is large with several sections for groceries and household items. Vegetables, meat, fish, chicken and also fresh baked goods. There are offers on products daily, with very good prices at the average level. Staff are kind and friendly. The store is well equipped with an elevator and escalators. There's parking below the store. Don't forget to carry your own shopping bag. Overall rating is 09/10. Cons: Shopping bags are overpriced at the cashier. Otherwise can't complain."
