"What horrible and disappointing evening I just had regarding a controlled medication for my special needs child. After my child’s Pediatrician sent the prescription to this pharmacy yesterday, I never received any notification from them on my phone like I would normally get so I called. The pharmacy associate stated that they had the medication but I realized that I would never make it on time because they were about to close, so I left it for today. Today I go to pick up the medication which I was advised was ready and they tell me they are out of stock. The medication is Methylphenidate. Now my child needs this for his severe ADHD and he has none left to go to school tomorrow. My child is uncontrollable without this medication to point where he just runs off, throws chairs, kicks teachers and staff members, spits at others. How can I even allow him to go to school and drive to work 25 miles away from my town? The fact that the pharmacist who I just spoke to was not even the least bit sympathetic about my situation really aggravated me. She didn’t even care what I had to say. They were not even able to supply me with an emergency pill or two until they receive their stock or even try to link me with another Walgreens that may have it. This is absolutely the last prescription I fill with Walgreens. I’d rather have my prescriptions filled by a local mom and pop pharmacy who I know would actually care and be accountable. I clearly understand that there’s a medication shortage but this was just not right. So much for having a local Walgreens pharmacy…."

"I hope the owner of this pharmacy is reading this. This place gets a 0out of 100 . It is unprofessional, disrespectful and always has its system down. The cashier was on her phone with her ear buds in while she was assisting me. They took me to two different registers wasted half an hour and then had the nerve to tell me “ miss maybe it’s your balance” when clearly it was their system was down. They charged my card 7 times and canceled the order because system wasn’t working. I would highly recommend training the employees before putting them behind the register. Seems like people will hire anyone these days."
