"Nikayla just made the entire application process so much easier both for our daughter and us. Nikayla didn't just rattle off a list of colleges based on stats that matched my daughter. She listened to what was important to my daughter and made recommendations based on that. In fact, my daughter's ED1 school is one that Nikayla suggested and the one she will be attending. Nikayla went beyond what a college counselor typically does. She got to know my daughter and learned what was triggering for her. She then worked with my daughter in a way that helped my daughter flourish through the process rather than getting bogged down in all the pressure. My husband and I were so surprised how calm our house was while she was applying. And Nikayla was always available to answer any of my questions and to hear my input. Nikayla is kind and empathetic, but she also tells it like it is when she has to. My daughter respected her and felt she had someone on her side who understood what she was going though.
