"First and foremost it was cold in the spot. The waitress was not knowledgeable about the menu items. I had to wait 45 minutes to eat but when I got my food, the salmon wasn’t cooked like I asked and it covered the spoonful of spinach, chickpeas and tomato was cold. The water for the tea was actually hot water from the faucet instead of boiled hot water. I’m for black businesses but first impressions are everything."
"Great food, I had the Oxtail Ragu and it did not disappoint. I also grabbed a side of Mac and cheese. I was impressed which is saying something because as a rule I don't care for restaurant Mac and Cheese. Somehow restaurants always manage to mess it up for me. Y'all did a great job. I also treated myself to the brownie and ice cream. It wasn't my cup of tea, but I'll give it a 10 because it was quality and really creative to the pallet. Things guys I'll be back."
"What a delight!! I’m so glad I came here. The deviled eggs are absolutely addictive. I could easily eat 3 orders in one sitting. The cornbread is probably even better!! You will not want to share. The appetizers are pretty strong and I could easily just come for apps and drinks. I had the oxtail pizza. It was okay but paled in comparison to the deviled eggs and cornbread. My friend who had the ragu raved about it. I also had the roasted corn (which I thought would be whole but was more of a chowder fyi). The corn was good and so were the fries but both were a little heavy on the salt. Overall a good experience. At the very least you must go for the cornbread and deviled eggs!! I will probably be back to try the ragu."
