"prematurely and unethically to the highest degree administered termination sedation and ergo killed my father. my father wasn't given a say despite being conscious - he was TOLD he was being put on "comfort care". dr. varma NEVER called me- adult daughter of patient with extremely close bond and relationship- not to tell me she was treating him, or that she was pumping him with morphine until he'd finally die - literally! if cmc refers anyone to dr varma I would advice you to RUN FOR YOUR LIFE LITERALLY. i'm surprised her "care" is not criminal to be honest"

"Worst staff at old Bridge office with no courtesy. We had very bad experience with the staff. They do not care if patient having emergency. Hope Dr. Seema Verma even know how her staff is handling her Patients."

"She was “treating”‘my mother for lung cancer. She told her it’s treatable and sent her to have 2 weeks of radiation. After radiation my mother had bad side effects and was rushed to the ER thinking she was having a heart attack. After being released from the hospital a few days later my mom went to her first chemo treatment per Dr. Varma. Days later she fell in her apt and after 12 hours on a hard floor, she was rushed to the ER. We called Dr. Varma’s office trying to get some answers and any help at all. These calls were mostly left without any return calls. Finally she visits my mom in the hospital and sees my moms feet are the size of softballs. She said it’s normal and to ice and elevate them. Afterward the hospital found multiple blood clots in her legs and lungs along with fluid in her lungs. They drained her lungs and released her to a rehab facility. My mom died a week later. I called Dr.Varma the day before she died. I had to leave a message for the nurse which I did asking to me to call me back as I had some concerns about my mothers well being. The next morning was the last time i heard her voice and never received a return call. PLEASE DO BETTER BY YOUR LOVED ONES and find another oncologist."

"Dr. Varma was treating my 77 year old mother for lung cancer. She sent my mom for radiation which later landed my mother in the ER with heart attack like symptoms. My siblings kept reaching out to Dr. Varma’s office while my mom was in the hospital but did not get a call back. After a week of waiting my sister complained to the patient hospital advocate and finally received a call back from Dr. Varma. When my mom was released from the hospital Dr. Varma decided to start her on her first Chemo treatment reassuring us that she was still very much treatable. A few days after her first Chemo treatment my mom became very frail, she couldn’t move around much on her own & could only eat liquid/soft foods. She fell in her apartment & went back into the hospital. During this time we called Dr. Varma’s office to let them know but received no call back. Then out of the blue Dr. Varma visits my mom in the hospital & notices severe swelling in her feet - she said it is normal and to just ice and elevate them. Shortly after the hospital found multiple blood clots in her legs and lungs and her lungs were full of fluid. The hospital treated her and then released her to a rehab facility so she could build up her strength to eventually finish her Chemo treatments. Dr. Varma does not follow her patients to rehab facilities so once again we are trying to track her down to get some insight as to what the next steps will be. Sadly our mom passed away before Dr. Varma returned any of our calls :("
