Reviews of Veterinary Oncology Services
"Attentive, responsive, kind, thorough."
"I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Impellizeri and his team including Elisa and Deirdre. They are the best of the best. My dog Elvis was diagnosed with an aggressive T-cell lymphoma in August, and from the minute I called for a consultation, Deirdre was so warm and empathetic and got me in as soon as possible. The whole team are all so compassionate and knowledgeable and I knew Elvis was in the best possible hands. Dr. Impellizeri and Elisa truly bent over backwards to give Elvis the absolute best medical care they could provide, and I felt that they cared about him just as much as I did. They would follow up with me between treatments to see how Elvis was doing, and I always felt any of my concerns were being heard. Dr. Impellizeri and Elisa tried every treatment possible and never gave up on Elvis until it was truly time and we were confident that nothing else would work. Unfortunately, Elvis passed away in late November, but I whole-heartedly believe we would not have gotten those extra four months of quality time with him if I had gone to anyone else. I highly highly recommend Veterinary Oncology Services."
"Dr. Joseph Impellizeri, Is one of the most phenomenal vets ive ever had , he is so warm and compassionate about what blu ( our bulldog) is going through. He reaches out after appointments to see how shes doing. Hes so pleasant to be around in appointments, and i personally leave feeling i understanding whats going on which is key in staying calm and collected with any pet going through cancer or any other life threatening obstacle. , i am confident our girl is in the best possible hands she can be in."
"Jessie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in July, 2023. Unfortunately, she had to have a front leg amputation by Dr. Kam at the Animal Surgical Center who did a fabulous job. He recommended Dr. Impellizeri as an Oncologist and she had her first Chemotherapy treatment last week. I cannot say enough about this whole team of professionals. Dr. Impellizeri, Elisa and Diedre worked as an informative, compassionate team explaining what the plan of action would be and everyone is hoping for a great outcome. I feel Jessie is absolutely in the best hands and I feel the course of action ( Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy) is going to have a very favorable outcome. Jessie is doing beautifully"
"Winnie was diagnosed in March of 2020 with Hemangiopericytoma. The tumor was removed from her palette. It returned in 2 months. We were told by the Animal hospital that there was nothing more we could do and that she had between 3-6 months. I went to Dr. Imperizelle, who had the regrowth removed by Dr. Infernuso and performed three Electrochemotherapy treatments. They worked. The cancer has been in remission since. Great oncologist and a wonderful person as well!"
