"I met Dr Roy when I was in Chilton, hospitalized with an extremely low blood count. He got my numbers up & has kept them up for 10 years now. Recently needed iron infusions. With those treatments & meds, Dr Roy got my iron numbers back to normal too. He's kept me healthy, & expect he will continue to do so for a long, long time!! His staff is great too! "This is my first review ever and the only reason why I gave 1 star is for the staff. Very nice and accommodating but the so-called Dr. Roy gets a zero. I have been going here for iron infusions throughout the summer and never had an issue until my follow-up visit. I did not appreciate how he spoke to me and constantly cut me off when I tried to have a conversation about the next steps in my situation. There was definitely a communication problem because we were not on the same page during my visit and that’s fine, but when the patient is trying to get a better understanding from the doctor other than what they previously received and the doctor constantly cuts them off while making smug remarks about the patient’s situation, I find it extremely insensitive and unprofessional. Especially when he say's things like "I don’t care if you have to keep coming back here" because your situation has not gotten better. How dare you make a mockery of someone's situation. He came across very annoyed (even though I am the one who spent hundreds of dollars over the summer and had to wait 40 mins to be seen) and intolerable of listening to what I had to say about him not being clear about what he supposedly advised me to do. As patients we are vulnerable and look to the doctors for their advice and professional guidance. Dr. Roy was very unprofessional and got up while I was talking to obviously leave the room. He created a situation that did not have to be due to his lack of communication skills and terrible bedside manner. Please, really read these reviews before you go. If you just need to get infusions and his office is a means to an end, then fine. The nurses are awesome but if you are looking to having a mature and professional relationship with a doctor, he is not the one."
