"Michael George created an exquisite, statement arrangement of calla lillies for our exclusive trunkshow, befitting of the grand location in which we were presenting our collection. Brides and stylists alike commented on the exceptional arrangement and we were thrilled with how the Michael George creative team designed flowers that complemented the fresh modernity of Emilia Wickstead. Thank you to Gaudencio and the team at Michael George Flowers."
"Spent several minutes speaking to the admin assistant and then the floral stylist about our preferences in flowers (ranunculus, anemones, hellebores, peonies, etc) and colors (jewel tones, greens, white, green) and style (elegant but a little wild). They ignored everything we said and sent an overly-groomed symmetrical ball of pure white roses. It was so bizarre. And not at all what we discussed or wanted. Then they got the delivery address wrong, calling us to say delivery wasn’t possible due to construction at the building (there was no construction going on at or near the delivery address). We expected far more from this florist. Especially for what we paid. Quite a disappointment. Won’t be calling them again."
"Our wedding flowers were perfect! We ordered nosegays for me and our flower girls and bud jars for our reception dinner at Sadelle’s— all were fresh and beautiful. They were communicative and service was fantastic. Would definitely use Michael George again!"
"These are not the sort of people anyone would want to do business with. After seeing their delivery truck (that features their company name and address on the side) driving like a maniac down the protected bike lane to skip ahead other cars in a traffic jam, and running over multiple permanent cones intended to protect the cyclists, I took out my phone to take a photo of the driver as he rounded the corner. He cut ahead of drivers that were being respectful of traffic laws, drivers that were being orderly and patient and not losing their cool in what was a backlog of cars waiting to turn, and then he cuts off cars trying to go straight through the intersection so that he can turn. Upon seeing me photographing him, the driver, who was in such a hurry up to this point, suddenly found the time to stop his truck in the middle of the intersection, get out, and come towards me yelling and threatening me. This is the guy that was just driving in the wrong lane, cutting cars off, endangering cyclist, pedestrians, and other cars, now yelling at me as if I did all of that. The anger was apparent, his temper completely out of control, his behavior inexcusable. He backed off when he realized that I was not shrinking away from him, got back in his truck, and speed away. Later, I called the company to report the incident as I would want someone to tell me about an employee of mine that acted like this. This sort of employee is a liability to any company and hurts a company's image. When I called I asked to speak with the owner and someone was put on the phone who said he was the owner. The man was immediately defensive and I believe it was because he was one and the same as driver of the truck in question, and he remembered the incident. I did not feel he was listening to me and told him so. His response was to talk over me and show the same sort of hot temper as the driver I had witnessed. I decided that the best thing I could do is report the incident through appropriate channels and through social media. I like to support local small business but I don't want a company like this that is willing to endanger people in my community to operate in my neighborhood. Hope that this reaches potential customers and makes you choose any other place instead of supporting hostile and unpleasant people like these."
"I called in the middle of the day yesterday to get flowers delivered to my girlfriend on her birthday. I was worried at the price at first but I just saw a picture and WOW. Beautiful, vibrant colors elegantly arranged. Worth Every Penny."
