"My son was struggling with a pretty severe stuttering issue. He was having trouble communicating his thoughts and was becoming very frustrated when trying to tell us what he needed. We started seeing Laura to correct the stutter and help him communicate. After approximately two months of treatment his stutter was virtually gone. Laura taught him breathing techniques to slow down his thought and speech. This eventually made him fully aware of the stutter as it was happening and he gained full control of his speech. Laura made the process fun and very simple. She was so caring and patient throughout his speech journey. He looked forward to going to see Miss Laura and playing with her, while learning these techniques. We are so grateful for Laura's help. He starts kindergarten in September and we are no longer worried about him struggling with learning or getting bullied. He is a shy child and she was able to cater to his needs to help him open up. She was able to pinpoint his speech deficits immediately upon just a few words exchanged between him and I.
