"Reaching out for outside help was my last resort. It was a scary prospect for me to ask a stranger to help get my loved one to treatment I had been handling it or trying to handle it myself. But I did . I called Joe @Transcend. From the initial conversation he was easy to speak with and took the time to ask questions about me, my family members and my loved who is struggling. We spoke a few times even before I contracted his services. Joe helped me organize my thoughts and helped my family through this by having one on one conversations and group virtual meetings. He walked us through each step of the intervention and was in constant contact. He also lessened my burden of having to coordinate everything and gave me time to work through this process. Joe assisted with looking for treatment centers and asking them the questions that needed to be asked. He also spoke with important people that are in my loved ones life that may have been of some assistance and made himself available to them. Joe and I worked closely in dealing with VERY VERY difficult logistics and put me at ease. There were a lot of moving parts to this, and Joe handled every bump with patience and a lot of communication with us. We are still in the process on getting our loved one to treatment, but a lot of walls have been torn down and have brought everything to light. With Joe's help we have all been given tools to understand how to better cope and how to continue going forward in our journey to saving our loved one. Joe stays in touch and continues to check in and is ready to help when the time comes. This is a process and we won't give up. We are grateful to have Joe Ortiz on our side. Thank you, Joe!"
