"It is absolutely sad that I can only give Jinglei Ye a 1-star review after our 3-year working relationship. I am utterly disappointed with Jinglei's recent behavior, which was completely different from his previous years of kindness and helpfulness in preparing my tax returns. This year, Jinglei has been extremely dishonest and irresponsible. He demanded payment upfront without providing a clear breakdown of his charges. Despite asking him three times for an explanation, he failed to provide me with a clear and concise answer, leaving me completely in the dark about his fees. Furthermore, Jinglei withheld half of my payment for tax filing despite not preparing my tax return. Although paid him upfront, e decided to file by ourselves, and I promptly informed him of our decision. Shockingly, he only refunded me half of the payment that I made, despite not having started any work on my tax return. When I tried to discuss the issue with him, he refused to engage and even threatened to block me. His suggestion to sue him if I have any grievance is unacceptable and unprofessional. It is truly disheartening to witness someone I once trusted with my personal information act so unethically and disrespectfully. Jinglei's behavior has left me feeling betrayed and frustrated. I cannot recommend his services to anyone and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future."
