"Small, narrow, and quiet walking path. It's a nice small enclosed place to relax on a bench. Nearly empty."
"This is a small little spot that Walt Whitman used to sit and write . Supposedly he really loved this place . I hadn’t been back there since the 90’s and recently stopped a couple of times. Sits back in a neighborhood. You can park along curb near the entrance on street. There’s a boarded path to walk on along creek with a few benches to sit, unwind and get a bit of quiet. Creek isn’t as nice as I remembered. Used to be much cleaner . Lots of geese back there. Lol watch out for geese poo along walking path. Worth a stop if in area IMO. Only been a few people here the times I’ve visited. Never crowded ."
"Hardly even made our way through the walk and we’re so in awe. Cant wait to come back. The water is so still and beautiful. There’s quite a bit of homes around where we entered but it was still so peaceful."
"It's a lovely, quiet place to make memories with the family. Just don't forget to bring Lemon Eucalyptus Repel. The mosquitoes are wicked."
"Very cool little park, replete with a boardwalk, a few little bridges, benches, trashcans, and is next to a little river. Beyond the boardwalk you can find plenty of trails that run along the rivers edge for a nice nature walk. On the boards are quotes from Walt Whitman's poetry for your reading pleasure. Very nice place for a picnic or afternoon stroll."
