"I went to go see Emily a few times she helped me but I didn’t really see her actually engaging with me and actually paying attention to how I feel .. she overall is a nice person but I don’t think she was the right person to go to for my therapy.."
"I am giving a three star review simply because the receptionists were always very kind over the phone and in person. I was never greeted with an attitude at all, when I had to cancel appointments they were helpful and when I first began coming here they were able to match me with a therapist quickly. However, the lack of two stars is due to my experience with the therapy itself and that has to do with the therapist. I had Emily Donavan. In the beginning therapy with her was ok and actually quite helpful at times (she provided some sites to help me cope, techniques, etc...) and i do think to some extent she cared about my wellbeing. However I was met with a disengaged side of her quite a few times especially once we began meeting more through telehealth. Specifically there were two times i noticed her one her phone texting/typing (one time while i was crying lol) and then many other times i noticed her clicking her mouse a lot which sure it could have had to do with her notet-aking but i don't think that was the case due to the frequency of clicking. Due to this is stopped seeing her, however if you are considering this place there are other therapists to choose from so don't shy away from checking them out!"
"I had 4 sessions with Emily Donavan. The last 2 sessions I felt like she did not have my full attention. Her body language really annoyed me. The last two sessions I noticed she was twirling her hair and playing with her earring as I spoke to her. She also was clicking her mouse and typing (not sure if she was documenting my session). I said to myself after my last visit that I will never go back again. Will definitely look for a new therapist and hopefully find someone that will actually listen."
"After a few months at this clinic they stopped accepting my insurance but I can definitely say that the care I was provided by Emily was beyond amazing. They gave me the value of being heard, believed and most importantly, validated. Have recommended to friends and family!"
"The therapist I see is Nataly Grullon. She made me feel really comfortable from the day I met her. She is an experienced therapist that is non judgmental and makes you really feel comfortable in your own skin. She has talked me off the ledge quite a few times. Ive gone into some sessions in really bad shape and left feeling relaxed. You will explore a range of emotions in her session which is nice as someone who suffers depression, anxiety and panic attacks. Having different feelings come through while being a bad place will help you slowly get back on track and get back out in the world. And with therapy you have to stick with it to see the light. Put in the work even if you don't want to and you'll make it out to the other side."
