"Successfully completed physical therapy with Dr. Amanda for runner’s knee(s). She is thorough, adjusts the routine to find what exercises work best and gives you the encouraging little nudge when you need it most. I also participated in a fun cardio fitness class with Coach Samantha. The four-week program consisting of two (one hour) sessions per week helped with my endurance as I work to get back in running shape. Maven Center in Paramus is the cleanest PT center and gym I have ever been in - they work very hard at disinfecting every piece of equipment after every use. Their entire team is excellent and I recommend both the PT and Maven classes."
"One of the best physical therapy and training center in the area. Love working, training with you Dr Taylor. Thank you for helping me grow mentally and physically, I am stronger inside and out. Look forward to your creative workouts!!"
"I searched and searched to find someone to figure out my injury. Everyone kept telling me it was a hamstring injury. I am in the fitness industry and I knew it wasn’t my hamstring. I know Taylor the founder of Maven Center personally from a previous facility he was at. When I saw Taylor had his own facility I immediately called to st up an appointment! I worked with Ryan first who is fantastic and then was able to speak with Taylor about my injury and he agreed it was not my hamstring either. At one of my appointments I had Amanda, who is absolutely wonderful. She listened to what I was feeling on each exercise and one day said wait, “I work with pelvic floor problems” she felt around and hit a spot and I jumped! She actually found the problem of my pain! From that day on we have worked through that pain and I am forever grateful to Amanda and the Maven Center team. I am feeling completely different than what I felt when I first entered their facility. They are kind, passionate about what they do and they want to help you get better! I can’t recommend this place enough! Thank you!!"
"Staff was very nice but I would not recommend going here if you have had major surgery and need physical therapy care. The team seemed to lack knowledge in post op physical therapy rehabilitation. A therapist pushed my knee too far back on a heel slide resulting in me screaming out loud and held it for a 5 second count. If thats not a sign that your hurting the patient then you should recheck your plan. The treatment set me back and caused a hematoma from that treatment. Exercises they tried to introduce were dangerous and could have caused major complications, having an ACL surgery and then having a therapist at 4 weeks post op, tell you to step up on a 1 foot box while trying to pull yourself up at the same time. No step exercises were introduced before this. Ankle weight on the ankle 4 weeks post op on acl revision for straight leg raises, I suggested that I was uncomfortable with the ankle weight and would like to put the weights above the knee, was questions by the therapist and then told we just wont use weights today. This was not my first ACL revision and have rehabbed with great professionals in the past that got me back to competition. I recommend looking elsewhere for post op therapy. Taylor, thank you for calling me back"
"I had an internship there while I was a student at Rutgers and working with the staff at Maven was truly a one of a kind experience. The therapists and aides all have an innate passion to not only help their patient get better, but to develop a fitness mentality among everyone that walks through their door. From my volunteer/part-time experience at dozens of therapy locations, Maven has stood out as far more than the average Physical Therapy/multidisciplinary clinic. The community built around the Maven goal is a constant motivation factor to better our lives regarding our nutrition, work-ethic, health, and mentality. If you're looking for therapy that develops your functional strength with guidance from some of the best DPT's in the country, Maven is really your only option."
