Reviews
"The park has invested a lot on making it nice, but for some reason locks the bathrooms. Not a good place to bring your kids if you have to teach them to pee in the woods."
"Great place to bring the kids in the summer. Great place to bring your dog in spring, fall and winter. Life guard summer time. You can't bring your dog on beach unless it's off season. Awesome views in the fall and winter. Plenty of picnic benches and bring your canoe. You can take a trip to the bay. Start at Double Trouble or by the police station and put your kayak or canoe in. Ride it to duddly Park or keep going to the bay. There's also volleyball courts and a playground for the kids."
"Ultra relaxing family creek. Shallow enough for your little ones to play safely. Lifeguard on duty daytime. Roped off area for swimming. Restrooms are maintained as are the picnic tables and grills. Very nice public park."
"Beautiful spot for sight-seeing. Does seem to attract a rather rowdy crowd towards the tressal though."
"Great place to bring children. Lifeguards until 6pm for a small, roped off area for swimming. Depending on past rail fall, the water is very shallow, with the deepest area only chest -high. Recently re-sanded beach area is a huge improvement from what used to be more like fine gravel. Swim shoes highly recommend. Playground area, picnic tables in shade, grills (bring your own charcoal brickets and tin foil.) Also hiking trails, and a popular spot for starting or ending a canoeing trip. Covered picnic pavilion is first-come availability, reservations NOT an option. Only downside: many visitors DO NOT clean up after themselves and the park is often littered with bottle caps and cigarette butts, although there are PLENTY of trash bins."
