"In the all times that I've visited, it was never open to go inside to see anything. But I'm ok with that. Nice little lighthouse, though. Right there by the beach. With a boardwalk and food stand during the day. During summertime, it is hard to find parking during the daytime."

"This lighthouse's history starts back in 1896. There was a stretch of coast between Navesink and Barnegat lighthouses that was dark at that time so Sea Girt lighthouse was constructed to fill that gap. Place was not open on a Saturday but has hours on Sundays 2-4. One star off because I wish it had tours available on Saturday . Hopefully, we'll get back there to take the tour soon."
"Beautiful spot-very clean. This house plans and pretty well with the rest of the homes there if it wasn’t brick you might miss it. Closed today but we walked 4.1 miles on the beautiful boardwalks and beaches in sea girt and spring lake. So well maintained. Bathroom. Trash cans and benches available. Lovely spot to spend time anytime of year."
