"My tax return was prepared promptly, but at significant cost because it was fairly complex. Three years later I was notified by the NJ Taxation Division that I underpaid my taxes. I discovered that Greenberg & Co. incorrectly typed in my withholding amount and did not catch their error. Three years later I now have to pay that additional amount owed plus interest. When I talked with Greenberg & Co about it, they refused to pay any portion of that interest (claiming that I should have earned it by investing the principal I did not pay in taxes). I have no problem paying the principal that I owed to begin with, but I expected Greenberg & Co to take some responsibility and offer to pay at least a portion of the interest charge. Not what I would call good customer service!"
