"Lots of trails, open fields, a playground and plenty of ponds/lakes. Had a great time hiking in the various trails and enjoying the playground and swings."

"Wide open sites. A little narrow in places as you come in. No Wi-Fi and broadcast TV is sketchy at times due to the thick foliage. Very quiet and the park rangers make regular rounds. Nice quiet getaway."

"Stayed in Forest View Cabin for a few nights. Cabin was able to sleep 6 easily. AC, inside lights, plenty of outlets for charging your electronics. Fire ring outside for bonfires as well as a picnic table. You have to drive to the bathrooms from the cabins. Bathrooms fairly clean, laundry room right next door. Playground in this area too. "rented 2 single kayaks on the saturday after labor day. park had some foot traffic but overall, we had a peaceful paddle only passing 2 other groups. beautiful surroundings and easy maneuvering. afterwards we did a small hike (1.2 miles) which was just enough to enjoy the day. a few bugs but to be expected given the time of year and climate. overall really enjoyable day. affordable and fun for something to do outdoors"

"This was my 1st time camping since I was 10 yrs old!! I had such a wonderful experience at Turkey Swamp Park!!! The Rangers were very helpful and pleasant. Our (my 19yr old daughter and my chihuahua) camp site was clean and leveled (tent camping). Our site was D7 we were feet away from the playground and Restrooms/ Shower Rooms. The restrooms are air-conditioned and maintained. We had electric/water hook-up, fire ring and picnic table. (Note: you definitely need a super long water hose. The water spigot is at the entrance of the pull through). Our site was spacious and pretty much private. You're definitely not on top of your neighbors. There is a lake, a couple of trails, super peaceful and lot's of trees!!! We met another Mother and daughter duo camping across from us. They were super friendly!! Overall I really enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend Turkey Swamp Park and I'll be staying here when I return back to NJ!!"
