"Went for father's day fishing. Trail is decently maintained and wooden walking path seems recently replaced. Pond was great, smallmouth and sunnies are readily available. No restroom, small picnic areas"
"It was during the long rainless period in August so the trail to the pond was dry. The pond had good water an it was a delightful surprise to see this nice bit of water with picnic bench and info kiosk. Overall a fun little walk in the woods."
"This might be the worst trail I've tried to hike in NJ and I've hiked hundreds of miles on NJ trails. They have walking boards about 500' in but it's a swamp until then and the boards only go so far until they stop and it turns into a swamp again. I made it about .2 miles before my hiking shoes/socks were soaked. I would advise to only go here if it hasn't rained in weeks."
"Small trail. It is not well maintenance but good enough! My 3&6 years old love here. Almost always muddy wear rain boots!"
"Most of the initial trail, just like another review says, is muddy. I will clarify that it is not muddy, it is swamp. Be mindful of that when you go in through the main entrance. Because this condition from the main entrance, which is navigated to in the GPS using the given address on Google, I would not advise taking a walk here as it is hard to access from the entrance."
