"J. Hood Wright Park, located in Washington Heights in Manhattan, is a great public space for recreation!! I haven't been in the park much myself, but I walk by all of the time and the space seems to be pretty well-kept by NYC Parks. The playground is so cute (it's designed to look like the George Washington Bridge (GWB) in the main play area), and there are awesome views of the GWB itself from the grassy areas of the park. The basketball courts are always busy and seem to be a great spot for groups to convene for games. Again, the whole space seems to be well-maintained, which makes it an inviting, safe space in the neighborhood for all to gather + play!"

"This Washington Heights neighborhood park is well maintained and allows for a pleasant spot to walk your dog, take your family, and relax. It can get crowded during the summer and has different areas for different activities. Like Central Park, it has Ice Age rock formations that add interesting topography to add character to the landscape. The pictures capture the beauty of the empty park on a rainy Saturday."

"I was told today by another dog owner to be careful because “under that tree is a rat poison”. I will post picture below about which tree he was talking. Dog owners beware. Dog park rangers, what is going on? I feel that it should be reported to 311."

"The spring flowering trees are gorgeous. The play area for kids was wonderful for kids of all ages. Not for teens. There are clean restrooms and plenty of places to sit. There is a dog park. It's pretty big."
