"I called ahead of time and inquired about fresh, long stem roses – was told that they have an extensive inventory, at $7 per stem. Came in later in the day for a bouquet and asked for fresh, closed-bud roses; explained that this order was for the next day and had to survive a car ride. Was charged $5 per stem, plus $20 (!!!!!) for greenery/baby’s breath; receipt was not available because the machine was broken – it was texted instead. Luckily, I was shown the flowers before they were wrapped up – the roses were not long stem, there was barely any greenery, with a few sprigs of baby’s breath; all flowers were on various last lags of their life – some already dead, some bloomed days before. Asked for a refund, and was issued one, but no receipt was offered because the machine was broken; no evidence of the refund was texted. Drove three miles down the road to the Allendale Flowers, Inc, and for $12 less received a marvelous bouquet of super-fresh, long stem roses, with greenery, water caps and a card!"
