"I was tired of sitting on the side lines when I go to parties so I checked out Dance Fever Studio on Ave J in Brooklyn. I took a group lesson just to get the feel of dancing with my two left feet. My teacher, Francis, made me forget that I had two left feet. From start to finish, he broke down every move and was very patient when my feet and body went in different directions. He worked with me and I was able to follow his leads. Feeling good about myself, I signed up for private lessons with Francis and did not regret. I now know basics for Bachata, Fox Trot, Hustle, etc. I also attended the free group lesson and stayed after for the Dance Party. Teachers, staff and other people in the dance circle made me feel welcome. I danced at the party and even though I am a beginner, I felt comfortable dancing with the professionals and intermediates.
