"Juli gave me some good advice on learning the basics. I went to Maria Torres' class and worked out and I now have the basic steps and count when dancing. Remember, I joined when it was Lorenz and the year off and full time job hurt. Unfortunately, that was a beginner class and the beginner students threw my timing off. I definitely needed to work on the basics, but since I had taken previous lessons, I didn't need to be in the beginner class, I needed to work on the basics. I felt I could have taken private lessons and returned to the upper advanced class. Also, I would encourage to have a class for older adults if they can't keep up the shines. And I liked the class with both shines and partner work. Javier said it years ago, working on your shines will help you when doing partner work. The only time I missed the shines, was work or if my body was in pain. Coming to then Lorenz and later Vida is a positive experience. Lessons and friends learned for life."

"Awesome instructors! Charismatic and passionate. I love the routines - partnerwork and patterns. Also, students are very nice and make you feel welcomed, while instructors make you feel part of the team. I definitely recommend both salsa and bachata classes, specially for beginners!"
