"Absolutely a great dance studio! Conveniently located great hours to work around your schedule. The best part is they are super friendly and so great with children. My 7 year old loves it! She’s in the acrobatics class with Ms. Rachel who is the sweetest. Totally recommend this dance studio!"
"If you’re looking for a Dance School or an Acro class for your child I highly recommend Progressive Dance Studio. We have been at Progressive for almost 7 years. The teachers are the best. They’re really attentive with children of all ages, both boys & girls. They’re kind, supportive, creative and have taught my children so much. It’s a safe, friendly and comfortable environment for families."
"This establishment has to be hands down one of the most unprofessional, unorganized and racist businesses in Englewood. Prices are different for every person who walks through the door. The main instructor seems to only know how to teach choreography and not how to teach the art or technique of dance. This is run as a day care or teen hangout more than a studio or school to be taken seriously. I would never send my child back here and recommend that you drive to any other nearby dance studio over this one if you are looking for a safe environment for your child and dancer."
"I love this place. All the instructors are super friendly and nice. It is a lovely environment for kids to learn to dance. The owner will try her best to accommodate your schedule and needs. Excellent place to bring your child to be free and have fun dancing."
"XING THIS IS FOR YOU: Sorry my iPhone 6s isn't clear enough for your liking, I'm getting a new phone soon and will be sure to show you the photo in better quality!!! Don't worry! IMPORTANT!!!! PARENTS PLEASE READ (from a students perspective): It's baffling to see that some parents are writing such lies on these reviews. I've spent my happiest moments at this dance studio which is the reason why I come back every year for the past 16 years. Not only are the classes very well taught, but the management at the desk is always on top of everything. To the parents who have their child signed up for one class a week and are barely at the studio, you should not be posting "hateful, violent, or inappropriate content" as that comes off as a violation. I am there about 24 hours a week, all of the staff is always doing their job. Since I am at the dance studio more than I am at my home, I of course would want a safe environment which PDS has. Everyone has their own place they feel comfortable in, whether it's a quiet library or Starbucks, mine is PDS. I feel my safest here. From the moment I walk in the door and get a "Hey Siminou" or a "Hey Alexa, How are you today?" with a smile on the person at the desks face to the moment I leave hours later with "Have a good night" I always get great vibes. Jolene Perry has created a wonderful environment where everyone feels welcomed. Every year someone new joins the team and we always can't wait to meet them and be fast friends. The studio has given me such a love for dance, I am continuing to dance in college. I also work with young children at the studio where I assist in Miss. Shay's hip hop classes every Monday with kids ages between 3-6. They are always so excited for class from such a young age and it's a joy to help teach them what I love to do most. This studio has made me the dancer I am today and I could never thank them enough for it. I found my passion here. It is my home away from home. My safe place. When I'm having a bad day at school, I know that I have a night of dance to forget about what happened and be able to smile the night away by doing what I love most. Each studio (A, B, C, and D) are beautiful and well done as Jolene Perry makes sure they are all the time. We've had many professional dancers come and teach us in past years and they always mentioned how nice the studio is and how they would love to come back and teach. She is constantly on top of everything and as her student watching her do her job all my life, I hope to one day have a business just as great as hers."
