"My daughter is sarting her 4th year at Alma and we couldnt be happier as my daughter loves going. We tried other studios before finding Alma and my daughter never fully opened up as she is very shy.Everything that happens us as parents are notified and any questions we have are always answered."
"Extremely disappointed with this academy. The director is rude, racist, unprofessional and discriminates against kids. Not just that, she coaches her subordinates to behave the same way. I have witnessed her telling children to go insult other children that are trying to learn and cope with dancing. I wouldn’t want to enroll my child at a place where the Director and her associates do not know how to treat kids with love, let alone teach them dancing. Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I wish I had known sooner. Also keep in mind the director sends separate emails to all parents. She will NEVER send group emails as she doesn't want parents to communicate with each other or exchange notes about how they feel. That's the reason its a strict drop off and leave policy. Director is well aware of her shenanigans but doesn't want to get trapped if parents exchange information and find out the truth that goes on behind their closed doors. Its sad such academy's exist, they should be regularly inspected and banned immediately from operating."
"The teacher is very motivating and dynamic. Cheerful, courteous and works very well with all ages. He puts a lot of care into what he does."
"My daughter has been with Alma's Dance Academy for a year and she loves going there. She is only 4, and never gives me a hard time about going to dance since she is going to see Ms. Farrah (the director and teacher.) Ms. Farrah is so sweet and loving to her students, which makes the experience even better. We were enrolled at another school before Alma's; it was nice however it was a big school and I felt the younger dancers weren't getting the attention and patience they needed. Plus Alma offers Flamenco and being from Spanish descent I wanted my daughter to experience it. If you are looking for a school that is small in size but with a huge heart, this is the place!"
