"One of the tax professional in this branch is rude and doesn't pay attention to my tax situation. As a result i lost unnecessarily around $1000 tax credit. We are paying $250 as tax filing fees in the hope that we will receive a professional service. But this man is behaving like kids. I told him my dependent ITIN may have expired, but this guy doesn't care and i did not get that credit."

"I have been going to this office and working with my tax advisor for three or four years. I am very satisfied with the service, information, and support that I received. When i first went to this office, i had a poorly and confusing return prepared. My tax advisor spent a lot of time sorting out what was prepared and redoing it. I have been working with him since and have always been happy with how thorough he is and how well he explains the details of my return. I definitely recommend this office."

"If I could give zero stars, I would! I have been a faithful client with H&R block, close to 7 years now. Last year, I had my taxes done and received a letter stating that I owed a large sum of money to NJ. When I asked my representative about it, she told me that it must be a mistake on their part as she reviewed my papers and assured me that everything was fine and sent in paperwork to resolve the miscommunication. This year I did my taxes on my own thru the H&R website as I felt that it was much more straight forward and in late March received a letter stating that I owed a large sum again! I called the Edison location and left weekly messages (3 weeks) and was reassured by the receptionist that the representative was busy and would absolutely return my call. After weeks of not returning my call, I decided to call again and make an in person appointment because I was getting nowhere. When I called, I was told that my representative was no longer working as tax season is now closed and that I would need to call the IRS to resolve the issue on my own. I was also told, by the receptionist that it must have been due to something I did on my part! I don’t understand why I bothered to pay for the protection plan when I end up doing all the leg work to resolve the issue. (Also, when I called IRS, they told me that H&R blocks “protection” plan is a SCAM!!!) What was the point in having a “professional” handle my taxes?! I will no longer be using H&R block and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone!!!"
