"I forget the initial reason why I went to see Dr. Yousef. In the process of doing a routine exam and test, talking to her, she informed me of a medication for a different problem and ordered diagnostic tests to make sure I was okay and that it was safe for me to take the prescribed medication. She also suggested an over-the-counter supplement for the same. When she did a routine test, it was painful for me, and she changed the size of the tool. Other office did not provide the same accommodation. She's very thorough. I probably saw at least five other ob/gyn offices prior to her, who are part of the same office, which I did not realize and said I was fine, dismissed my health issues and concerns and that I only needed a mammogram. I saw other posts about their English and communication skills. To me this is not as important as a doctor's skills, knowledge, personality, and demeanor as well as the staff."
"I don’t know what to say, I contacted the office to have an appointment last October, I gave them my insurance information and the person over the phone agreed that they accepted my insurance, the office wasn’t as good and clean as it supposed to be as a doctor office, then I had to visit them again just as a follow up in December. Now I surprised when I found that their billing office contacted me to pay $260 for the 2 visit’s although I have the same insurance for ten years now , I have never had this situation before. When I contacted my insurance they said they just refused to pay because the office didn’t contact them to ask for authorization number before the visit and just if they contacted them asking for backdated authorization number they will pay the bill. Contacted the office to ask them to send this to the insurance. The person over the phone refused to help and started to scream at me over the phone in unacceptable way. I have been through this for 5 months now, I don’t know what to do. I don’t like anyone else to go through the same thing. She also has a very limited and poor communication skills."
"To begin with i didn’t read the reviews before i scheduled my appointment. so i called to make an appointment and it went to voicemail, no problem. I get a call back later to schedule it. then the next day i get another call back asking to set up an appointment even though i just made one the day prior. then comes the day of my appointment, the parking is in an awful set up, i walk in and she told me to come 15 minutes before my appointment and i wasn’t given any forms to fill out until 30 minutes of waiting. then i walk back and i walk into my room and there are literally dirty instruments inside the sink. the woman walks me inside and says if i need to get a check up down there then i can change, and proceeds to leave the door open. why would you say that, then leave the door open? at that point my only intent was to get my blood work done and call it a day. Once she finally came into the room she was asking questions, right iver the sink with the dirty tools. and asked if i wanted to get a pap smear done and when i said no she asked why. i simply said because the implements in the sink and she said oh the doctor just did that so she can soak it later. i’m sorry why are you bringing a patient into the room if there’s dirty tools. when i walked in it smelled and i wonder why……"
"The doctor is friendly and knowledgeable NOT proactive. However, her administration person lacks professionalism. I can understand how difficult technology and navigating the english language can be hard especially due with age because its the reason I help my mother with setting up a doctors appointments (hence the review). However, telling/ yelling at a customer/ patient on the phone that she cannot change the pharmacy location because she only has 3 pharmacy locations input into the system and does not know how to add an additional one is not acceptable. Also, when the customer/patient request to please speak to someone else the same administration person forgets or just doesnt care to put the customer on hold and decides to talk badly about the customer in their native language while telling their boss the issue is DEFINITELY NOT ACCEPTABLE. End result: spoke with the doctor she will send the prescription to the new pharmacy. However, my mom will need to perform procedure again as she overlooked a key step needed for better results. Would not recommend this office or staff. I hope they do a better job of self analysis."
"This was the worst experience in all my gynecological years. They charge you for $20 for your own medical release, plus $1 per page per their policy. The office is outdated, the staff is very small and non attentive. I was informed Dr Yousef doesn't perform surgeries, still had to go to another practice which I had to ask for the information. I don't feel my concerns were addressed I had to inform her verses her asking, and I was a first time patient. All the things you expect for your first visit was the worst at this office to make a return!! I would not recommend this office because the bed side manner was the worst. no female wants to feel a dis-tasteful experience in regards to their most intimate area, and feel the Dr isn't addressing or even concerned what her issues are. I think in establish a patient/Dr relationship the Dr should take time to address any and all issues, I wasn't even asked if I had any issues, I just had to inform her! I was very disgusted in this whole experience, so if you read this review please choose another GYN because this office is the worst!!!"
