"Sadly, it wasn’t until I started seeing a new doctor that I truly realized the poor treatment from the doctor and those who work here. Doctor is quick to diagnose something and want to prescribe birth control (in my experience) with little consideration to how you feel about such diagnoses and treatment plan. I can understand being busy and seeing many patients, but it’s quite sad to be in the middle of asking questions, to better understand the situation, and yet have the doctor walking out of the room dismissively. And then to have front desk workers/assistants have a poor attitude with you as you leave the facility isn’t helpful. Doctor said to me “since you work in the field (i dont, as I’m not a medical worker) you should understand exactly what you need to do,” when I disagreed with the treatment plan and was asking if there were other options. I was with this doctor for over 5 years until I eventually just had enough. It’s no one’s fault but my own for staying as long as i did. I would not recommend."

"Dr. Schaefer is an incredibly thorough and caring doctor. He goes above and beyond to ensure that his patients are cared for (mother and baby). Office visits are a bit of a wait, but very well worth the care that Dr. Schaefer provides. I moved out of state and rather return to NJ to see him than anyone else."
