Dr. Louis A. Labosco, MD

"I gave birth to my twins 22 years ago after having invitro. Dr. Labosco was the one who delivered them. At the time, he was part of another group. That group dismantled shortly after my children were born. Toward the end of my pregnancy, I had a bad feeling about him and the other doctors. They acted like a bunch of clowns. Dr. Labosco was insistent that I was getting a c-section before I was in labor. The other doctors said it was a good possibility that my transverse twin will turn and I could give birth naturally. After my c-section, I was in incredible pain and had fever. I was told all of it was normal. I only had one painful week at home with my long prayed for babies. All week I called to tell the about my pain, fever and diarrhea. I was told to take Tylenol. Finally I saw an infection on wound and went to hospital. I was not responding to the medicine. The whole group treated me like a drama queen. Told me I had postpartum because I wasn't feeling better. After a few days, I was weaker and called my family and told them my doctors do not know what they are doing and they were going to kill me. My fevers were getting higher and I needed transfusions. I was going to die! Thank God my mother called the hospital administrator and got me new doctors. They found the root of my problem after many painful tests. My bowel was perpherated. I had a massive infection that required a laporotomy. I had many drains, IV and a pick line. I was in the hospital for a month. I missed my children's first month. Our lives were in chaos. My children are healthy. I on the other hand have massive scar tissue in my pelvis that causes me lots of medical issues and pain. 22 years later and I am still suffering. I signed the waiver before my c-section. I understand that, eventhough I feel Dr. Labosco had his mind made up about the c-section. The whole group with Dr. Labosco ignored me. If they did not send me home with fever or dismissed all my calls by telling me to take tylenol my life and families life would be better. The doctors office and doctors did not document my calls and complaints. They were never held accountable. Dr. Labosco does not have an open mind. He is dismissive. I would not give him any stars."
