"ever since going to leslie’s dance studio, i was taught what a true family was. from the students to the teachers, everyone that ever steps foot in the studio shows so much respect and love to every student, teacher, parent, and visitor. no matter how long you have been dancing there, you feel like you have known these people your entire life. you leave leslie’s dance studio with so much knowledge on the art of dance, performance, and how to treat people. it is truly a great place to be, and i can always recommend this studio to anyone that is new to the area or needs a dance studio that is loving and will accept anyone for they are. this place is my second home, i spend almost every day dancing 6 hours a week, and i end up still wanting to go back. you will not regret sending your kid here, because it is truly the place you and your kid want to be."

"I’ve been going to Leslies for about 7 years now and I have only great things to say. The teachers are so loving, nice, and create great choreography. Everyone who attends the studio is amazing and nice. New students are always welcome. The teachers show so much love for their students and they are so encouraging to all students no matter what the skill level. Honestly one of my favorite places to be. The recitals are always beautiful and so much fun to be in. Classes are filled with so much energy and happiness. I live about a half an hour away from the studio but I don’t mind the drive if I get to dance with all these amazing people. Being in class makes me feel great and dancing is truly one of my favorite things. We have the best teachers around and they are just flowing with creativity. I definitely recommend coming and dancing at this awesome studio."

"I ve been taking my daughter to Miss Marilu Dance Studio in Brigantine NJ, recently she retired and close the Academy. She referred us parents to her sister s studio in Margate NJ, Leslie s Dance Studio. A bunch of us made the effort of driving 40 minutes away to come and enroll the girls in this Studio since it was recommended by her sister. If you are any kind of minority be prepared for you and your child to be discriminated, Black, Spanish,etc. If you are not caucasian you and your child would not be welcomed. After paying the registration fee and the monthly fee my daughter proceeded to attend to her first class, all the girls formed their little group and my daughter being the only minority was left out, girls pointed her out, making means comments. I do understand that they are just kids product of their ignorant parents but when the teacher is part of this and let this happens then yes I am totally offended. I ask for my money back, which I knew before hand that i was not going to get back the registration fee, but they did not wanted to refund the monthly fee I paid, so I paid one whole month for only 45 minutes. Its fine they can keep it, it s obvious that they need it more than I do so they can invest in some more education for at least the staff. It s so sad that to find a good quality studio you have to go to North Jersey or Philadelphia. Now I ended with a discriminated and traumatized 5 year old. Thank you Leslie s Dance studio."
