"Completely satisfied and felt well taken care of. I would not hesitate to return or use H&R Block in Maywood again in the future. As someone who doesn't make a ton of money, it's critical for me to feel respected nonetheless. Not only did I feel respected and well taken care of, but also felt no stress with the process. Mrs. Haro couldn't have made the process easier for me. She was also friendly and cheerful and easygoing. The woman who checked me in and took my call (sadly can't remember her name at the moment) before directing it to Mrs. Haro was perfectly professional, bubbly, kind, funny, intelligent, and sociable. The employees were in good moods and appeared happy to be there. Best experience I've had with my taxes."

"Poor experience they tell you to make an appointment with your Tax Pro. Once you arrive they tell you to just drop your stuff off and they’ll call you with any questions. They don’t tell you a price off how much it will cost until you come pick it up. I’m pretty sure they do this to hurry you out of there so you don’t ask questions for pricing. If your single person and just filing a W-2 nothing else do not come here the price is $205 for a basic tax return. If you want that fee taken out of your refund that’s another $39. Once you tell them never mind I don’t want to file with H&R Block they start to negotiate a price with you asking to take $25 off."

I had been employed with one firm for 30 years and got let go in the end of 2019. 2020 was the first year that I was on unemployment and using federal subsidized health care ...
