"Literally have to beg this woman to send me a copy of my tax returns. Albeit it’s been late and we are in a pandemic. I never rushed her to file my taxes. However once she filed taxes. I waited a couple a weeks and I requested my returns. After 6 separate request weeks apart. It’s now August and I still have not received my returns or my taxes return documents."

"I’ve been using Joshlyn for the past 3/4 years. She was a recommendation from a friend and I was very pleased with the quality of her work. What I wasn’t too fond of was her professionalism. She is unresponsive to calls, emails and texts. It has almost become normalized that she may or may not respond to you. Because of what she was able to produce, I continued to use her services. Unfortunately, my desire to continue to support her business has deteriorated. My family and I had 3 separate appointments yesterday and when we arrived at her office, she was not there. I thought I had the dates confused because it would be unfathomable to consider the fact that she would just not be there. I surely confirmed the time and date in my phone. We called her work phone, cell phone and text her several times to which we received no response and could not leave a voicemail because her voicemail was full. I traveled 1.5 hours with a small child and needless to say I was extremely frustrated. After that whole debacle, I called my friend who referred me to her and she said she’d taken a family member there earlier that day and was unable to get in contact with Joshlyn either. ...and the story continues. Since we had driven 1.5 hours to get to her, my partner decided he wanted to get his taxes done elsewhere. We literally walked around the corner and the tax consultants overheard our conversation about intending to get our taxes done elsewhere and they chime in to ask if we are referring to JB Tax Services. Someone proceeds to tell us that they’ve been getting a lot of people who were supposed to do their taxes with JB Tax Services and were stood up as well. Lastly, I do hope Joshlyn can get the business side of things in order. I am human and understand things come up. Courtesy would’ve been to call/email all of your customers to cancel, left a note on the door or she could’ve at least responded to one of my many methods of communication. I love supporting black owned businesses, but the lack of professionalism here makes it difficult. She certainly just lost 6 customers."

My first time dealing with this company and it has been amazing.I was in and out within 40 minutes and within weeks I receive my check from two years which I DIDN'T do.
